Voice and Data Communications On-Line Curriculum
This course gives a general outline of the structures underlying TCP/IP networks. It explains the major security risks in data networks and the key methods for dealing with these risks. It goes on to describe basic IPSec architecture and terminology. Finally, this course explains the motivation for network management, and examines two approaches for implementing network management.
Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to describe the structure of TCP/IP networks as it relates to network security and network management.
This course is intended for networking students who are interested in learning more about different factors in TCP/IP implementation.
