ABCs of Data Networking
This course gives the fundamental concepts and terminology of data networking to students who are new to the subject. The student will be introduced to generic standards and protocols applicable to all vendor environments. This knowledge-based course is designed to be the prerequisite for other Northland data networking courses.

Global Objectives
Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to evaluate the potential of different networking technologies for a given communication requirement.
Target Audience
This course is intended for those who will be working in telecommunications and wish to achieve a general understanding of data networking concepts before moving on to training in specific technologies.
